Klarälvens camping is a member of the Swedish national camping organisation SCR. If you have the “camping card” Camping Key Europe, you get a discount on accommodation with a tent, caravan or motorhome. This discount does not apply to cabin guests. Camping Key Europe gives you access to special offers and discounts in Sweden and Europe.
Note! The showers require Swedish coins (5 kronor) to get hot water. During reception hours, tokens for the showers can be purchased, guests can reserve the laundry room, the wood-fired sauna, and get access to the assembly hall for dining or watching TV.

Klarälvens Camping is located at the junction road E45/62. You can find directions here.
Unfortunately, we do not have a charging station at Klarälvens Camping. You can charge the car approx. 300 m from the campsite at the road E45/62 junction.
On the day of arrival, you have access to the cabin/campsite from 3 p.m. unless otherwise agreed. On the day of departure, you return the key by 11 a.m. at the latest.
Unfortunately, we do not have a restaurant or café at Klarälvens Camping. About 300 m from the campsite you will find Mac45, a gas station with fast food and lunch specials. Feel free to ask us at the reception for additional suggestions for restaurants and cafés a little further away.
Dogs are welcome to Klarälvens Camping. The dog must be leashed in the area and consideration must be shown for other guests and staff at Klarälvens Camping.
Klarälvens Camping is located next to the river Klarälven, where you can go for a swim. In the area we have a wood-heated sauna that you can rent, as well as a playground and plenty of space for play and games. When the reception is open, you also have access to the assembly room where there is a TV. There are several fireplaces in the area, feel free to ask us for a grill to borrow. You can fish in the river Klarälven or in the lake right next to the campsite (Put and take). Note! Fishing license required. Of course, you can also book one of our activities subject to availability. Ask at reception for timber raft trips, canoe trips or beaver safari.
Activities at Klarälvens Camping
TIMBER RAFT 1 DAY
Be prepared for a day filled with both full activity and relaxing moments. You will learn the knots and lashings needed to build a safe and stable timber raft. After a few tough hours of work, the raft is ready and you can enjoy the fruit of your labor when you slowly float down the river Klarälven.
CURIOUS ABOUT CANOEING?
Whether it’s been a while since you last went canoeing or you’re a complete beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to experience nature on the waterways of northern Värmland. No prior knowledge is required. We provide you with information about safety and paddling technique on-site. You enjoy the experience – we take care of the practicalities!
BEAVER SAFARI
On select summer evenings, you can embark on an enjoyable tour by rubber boat or canoe (depending on number of people), along the serene river Klarälven. Immersed in nature, you’ll float peacefully as the sunset casts a warm glow over the landscape. Keep a keen eye out for the busy beaver, they are known to inhabit the banks of the river, and with a bit of luck, you may catch a glimpse of their industrious activities.
